Ghanchakkar (English: Crazy) is Bollywood comedy thriller film directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur from UTV Motion Pictures. The film features Emraan Hashmi opposite Vidya Balan in the lead.It will release on 28 June 2013.
Story:
Sanjay Athray (Emraan) is a master safecracker who wants to retire from crime and therefore he decides to team up with two criminals to commit one last heist to make fast money. Sanjay is given the task of hiding the loot so that it could be divided into three shares. When two months later the accomplices return to collect their share of loot, Sanjay refuses to even recognize them. Meanwhile, Neetu Athray (Vidya), who is a quirky and insane housewife, makes the situation peculiar for all three.
The story of the film revolves around Sanjay Athray (Emraan Hashmi) and his loud Punjabi wife Neetu (Vidya Balan). Sanjay robs a bank with two other thieves and they decide to meet after three months and distribute the money equally. But during those three months Sanjay meets with an accident which leads to his partial memory loss. Sanjay forgets where he kept the briefcase full of money. Robbers give him one week time to figure out where he kept the briefcase.
Ghanchakkar is a crazy, quirky rollercoaster suspense ride that will surprise, shock and entertain the audience at every turn.
